Erudition Detention

I'm sequestered again for the weekend, since another paper is due next Wednesday in seminar, in which I am obligated to compare two different essays on Roman gladiators. It's been a very pleasant week, since I got to house-sit in El Sobrante for an absent friend who has a home directly next to Tilden Park. Deer and pheasants and wild turkeys emerge from the meadow in the evening and stare at me reading my books on the back porch.
